A Sunday Evening Ritual to Prepare for the Week

Sunday evenings carry a particular softness — a threshold between what has been and what is coming. Here’s a ritual to settle your nervous system before the week begins:

1. Dim the lights.

2. Choose one artwork (from a book, a postcard, your wall).

3. Sit with it for three minutes.

4. Ask yourself: What quality do I want to carry into the week?

5. Write one sentence. Only one.

6. Place it somewhere visible.

This is the same energy I bring to each episode of The Retreat Podcast — a weekly exhale.
